They combine agency services with world-class campaign execution on a proprietary technology platform to deliver superior marketing results for clients. They create and execute campaigns across multiple media channels including personalized email, targeted websites, banner and other web advertisements, search engines, and direct mail.
Business situation
Aiming to become a leader in the email marketing sphere and growing at a phenomenal rate through serving a diverse set of companies, our client’s persistence for maintaining quality of its customers’ campaign pages grew multifold. With increase in the client’s service offerings and customer base, the client decided to offshore certain activities in order to achieve better return on investment. This decision was intended for better cost savings, and quick turn around time of work done by using an offshore team working beyond the client’s working hours.
Technical situation
The client felt the need for better quality control of the campaign pages and associated landing pages to meet up with the increasing expectations of their valued customers. With a motive to improve the quality of release of these pages, the client identified the need for an offshore entity that would work as an extended team and handle all QA activities for specific projects. Their requirements were:

- To achieve short turnarounds for all outsourced projects
- To have a complete regression solution
- To have a test Automation solution
Solution
The client selected Lister as their offshore testing partner and outsourced their QA for their campaign pages development service. Lister analyzed the requirements of the client and came up with the following test strategy:

- To have multiple shifts which provide customer support for 18 hours a day
The test scope included functionality, usability, compatibility, integration, database and user interface testing for all the web pages developed.
