Looking for Java developers willing to learn and work on new technologies.
This role would require the candidate to work with small teams of 3 or 4 developers on projects or
regular release updates. The candidate would need to work on planned tasks with development leads on both
Java and Rails based platforms. Should be able to diligently code and test his/her work and follow coding
guidelines during development. Should participate in forums and white-boarding sessions and perform peer code reviews.
Mandatory Skills:
Should have implemented and worked on projects with either Ruby, Ruby on Rails or Java, J2EE
Core Java, MVC Framework (spring or struts), JSP Database, JDBC, HTML, CSS and Javascript, MySql skills are mandatory.
Should have worked on creating automated tests though test unit or Junit
Should have knowledge of database design.
Should have sound reasoning and logical ability.
Very strong skills in Object oriented programming and MVC design pattern.
Desirable Skills:
Working knowledge of Sling , OSGI, JDBC , Javascript libraries like Jquery, prototype.
Knowledge of building applications with Ajax. ORM - (Hibernate or Active Record) will be added advantage.
