Scanning Services
High quality scanners are used to convert hardcopy of book, newspaper, magazine, journal and document into .pdf, .tiff, .jpeg format that can be used for online publishing.

Imaging Services
As part of post scanning process, a scanned image is edited to create better quality image output. Usually, an illustration is captured in resolutions of 50 dpi, 300 dpi and 600 dpi. The imaging process includes:

• Edit image. Eliminate moire, bleed-through of ink from text, image, watermark, pen mark, stain such as ink and rust
• Create and add background to a picture
• Manipulate raw picture which involve masking, cloning and color correction
• Create shadows for image object
• Animate the manipulated picture with special coding

Optical Character Recognition Services (OCR)
The scanned image is read and converted into editable text. The text generated by OCR is used for XML conversion and database creation.

Data Conversion Services
Our data conversion services includes XML conversion or HTML/SGML conversion using our proprietary tool. We use customer specified DTD (Document Type Definition) or a Public DTD for converting to SGML, XML or any other desired format.

Citation Tagging Services
Citations allow creation of online search based on bibliographic information, for example search through ISSN, ISBN, Author, etc. Information is captured to identify a publication such as a book or journal. Details include author, title, date of publication, journal title (if applicable), volume and page numbers. A bibliographic database is created using captured citations.

Defining Meta Data Services
The metadata allows easy search of documents from the database for search engine purposes or catalog information. Key identification details of the document are captured during the SGML conversion/XML conversion/HTML conversion. For example, in a legal document, the key details may include case party name, advocate name, judgment date etc.
